Australia... Part 3 - Road Trip

Alhamdulillah, cuaca amat bagus sekali :) Heyya, roadtrip with Kak Thirah, Shazy, and Nadiah :D Today marked the start of our adventurous journey. Hello Kangaroos and Koalas, we gonna meet you. HEHE. The first place that we went to is Symbio Wildlife Park, Helensburgh, NSW. Just like a normal zoo, you will find all sorts of animals, but of course with an additional types of animals here in Australia. Eg: Wombat. And, my dreams to see the koalas and kangaroos has been achieved :P 

Si pentakut and penggeli haiwan. Tak berani nak pergi dekat-dekat. 

HAHA. Kesian. Terjerit-jerit jadinya. Tapi eksaited nak tengok. 

Kangaroo ini macam-macam perangainya, 

ewahhh bersenang-lenang, bersantai, MALAS!

 Tunggu orang datang bawa food and feed them! Amboiii sangat. 

Comel juga awak ni :)

Aishhh, memang taklah Aina nak buat macam ni. 

Risau kena gigit dan pelbagai lagi perasaan lain.

Kebanggaan Australia.

Melompat toin-toin. HAHA. They were put in a huge fenced garden and plenty of them. 

Saya tak bilang pula. Ada juga yang bawa anak dalam kantungnya. 

Boleh masuk dalam tu, bagi makan pada mereka. Of course, the food kena beli lah~

 Lihat, lihat, betapa rakusnya kangaroo ini >.< hehe.

Mak oiiiii, gelinya. Cepatlah habiskan!!! 

Personally, I think kangaroos dalam gambar way cuter.

We were so lucky sebab dia tak tidur masa kami disitu. 

Ni pun sama, tidur 20 jam sehari. HOHO.

Sepanjang roadtrip tu kami lalu lah that Grand Pacific Drive. The view was beautiful and serene. Masha Allah. Stopped at Bald Hill Lookout, Stanwell Tops. 

Then, we had our lunch at Austinmer, NSW. 

The fish and chips sangat sedap. Wuwuwuwuwu.

We then continued our journey to few beaches along the way which I forgot their names -.- 

We arrived Kiama late evening on that day. 

Perjalanan kami memang jauh hari ni. Dah gelap pun masa tu.

Kesejukan. And YES! Kedemaman. Malam itu juga, terus telan Panadol.

Thanks Kak Thirah bawa kami dinner kat rumah Kak Mun di Dapto. Malaysian community living here in NSW. Mereka semua baik sangat, masak banyak semua makanan sedap-sedap. We never know that actually the theme for that night is pyjama party! Selain dari kami, ada lagi keluarga lain yang turut serta berpakaian onesie comel-comel pelbagai watak kartun. Tidak dilupakan, kami menyambut belated birthday Kak Thirah bersama mereka. Supriseeee!!!

Steady walaupun dah keletihan masing-masing. Sampai rumah around 10 pm. Sudah terlalu lewat malam sepertinya 2/3 pagi kalau di Malaysia, HEHE, sebabnya winter!

Australia... Part 2 - The Gong

Wollongong is also referred to 'The Gong' by the locals.

It then continued the next day where we decided to just roaming around Wollongong CBD. It was raining in the morning that day, so we were wet by the time we reached the beach. Haih! Di Wollongong, semua bas adalah free :') Yayy! Went to the beach, lighthouse, did some shopping at the mall, buying groceries at Coles. The cereals and fresh milk was so so cheap :D We had kebab as our lunch that day. Went home early, dinner and slept like a log. HAHA.

I started to fall in love with everything in this city. 

I was mesmerized by how beautiful and clean the city was :')

Di Wollongong, banyak orang yang  berusia tinggal di sana. Mereka sungguh baik, 

selalu menegur di sepanjang jalan, and kind enough to help us to bring our things.

From the place that we stayed, we need to get the bus at the University of Wollongong bus stop station. So, memang passed by lah and we took the opportunity to enter the university area. Sangat cantik :) Opposite the university, it is where Wollongong Botanic Garden is situated.

At night, we went out around Wollongong city to see their night life. 

Thank you, Kak Tirah for bringing us there~ That night we had Chocolateria San Churros, 

so delicious!! Malam agak sunyi, since the business here closed down early.

The weather was still not pretty much nice to us since the day we arrived Sydney. We were wet most of the times and amatlah sejuk. Instead of having umbrella, guess what we had???

Raincoat- seperti plastik sampah. Tidak murah okayy $3. HAHA.

Australia

I have always wanted to go to the land where most of the people living there are 'The White'. After taking into considerations, Australia is the best choice as it will offer you many great deals :') So, in August 2015 (winter in Australia), I had the chance to pamper myself with my cousins after I finished my undergraduate study (kinda graduation trip for me).

Australia is big and so beautiful. Basically, we went to New South Wales and spent most of the days in Sydney and Wollongong. We were so excited to leave Malaysia that night. The 8 hours  journey from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney was long. I could barely sleep and the economy class seat in the airplane somehow made my back felt a little bit pain. We touched down the Sydney land around 10 o'clock  in the morning. Upon arrival at the Kingsford Smith International Airport, we were warmed by the bright welcome of the Aussie.  Everything went well and smooth. Even all the foods we brought from Malaysia semua lepas. Yayy! Do not bring diary products, meat and poultry. 

We were not in rush, so berkampung sekejap di airport and ambil feel. HAHA. Sempat la tour airport, and there were so many things that caught our eyes! We went to few booths inside the airport, WHSmith and some others. Would like to take some breakfast but couldn't find any halal restaurant. Then, we decided to go to Sydney Central Station by taxi :') Taxi is the best choice since there were 5 of us, with our luggages, and cheaper as compared to the express train from the airport. Walking out of the airport, ohhh man!!! The wind blew strongly, so cold. Hujan renyai-renyai pula lagi.

Okay, tak tahan. 14 degree. Kulit orang tropika. Nampak tak, Aina dah 3 layers masa ni. Masa ni seret luggage here and there, searching for food because we already hungry. Whooppsss, got free WiFi. So, chill dulu lah di Central Station tu. Anyway, we bought our MY MULTI 3 PASS for ALL RIDE for A WEEK. It was $69 and we thought it was worth. Covers almost all the places we want to go. For that whole week, we will be boarding train, ferry, tram, and also bus. From what I observed, the traffic is a little bit different from Kuala Lumpur. There were not so many cars on the road (tak jem), and the citizens preferred to take public transport going to work. 

Muka-muka kelaparan. Had our brunch at Taste of Thai, George St. Day 1 just gone like that. The weather was unpredictable. Because it was the end of winter, sejuk sangat, and all of sudden hujan sampai kilat petir tu, tiba-tiba keluar matahari. We need to go to Wollongong later in the evening. Everything is near to the Central Station, but we will explore the city soon.

Arrived Wollongong around 5 pm. Wollongong is even colder than Sydney. The temperature is now 11 degree. Belum sampai our house, semua pun dah pakai jaket, sarung tangan. Hehe. Since it is winter, 5 pm pun dah gelap. Took a taxi back to our home that we will be staying for 4 days. Masuk rumah semua cari heater. Memang tak tahan, malam sampai ke pagi suhu mmg drop. Paling rendah masa kami disana 7 degree. Gggggrrrrrrrrrr!!!!
