Surah al-Ikhlas

Assalamualaikum :D

Today, I would like to share with you the benefit of practicing Surah al-Ikhlas :) It reminds me the day when I was still in foundation studies. During oral communication class, everyone will get excited as we can enjoy, talk about this and that. We can throw our opinion on certain issues, discussing, learnt the correct pronunciation, etc.etc. memang jaranglah guna buku, pen, kertas semua~ hehe. despite all that, of course there are certain requirements that we need to fulfill :D Overall, we need to deliver 5 speeches :) and alhamdulillah, I managed to score A for this subject :) thank you, madam :P

Lets proceed. actually this is the topic that I chose to deliver during my 3rd speech which was tazkirah :D I enjoyed this class very much as I could listen to all my friends speeches and gain new knowledge.

Surah al-Ikhlas, a short surah which contain 4 verses.

The advantages :

1. Reading Surah al-Ikhlas is like reading ONE-THIRD of al-Quran :)

The Prophet once asked a riddle to his companions :Who among you can complete the Quran reading (khatam) over two or three minutes only? Mone of them answered. Umar said, it is impossible to finish it too quick. Then, Ali raised his hand. Umar said Ali knows nothing since he was small at that time. Thus, Ali recited Surah al-Ikhlas 3 times :) Then, Prophet smiled and replied by saying Ali is right. This is because the Prophet said that reciting Surah al-Ikhlas, you'll be rewarded equal to 10 juz of reading the Quran. So, reading Surah al-Ikhlas 3 times is like completed the reading of 30 juz of Quran :)

"Anyone who read Surah al-Ikhlas, it is as he had read one-third of the Quran"
(Hadith narrated by Ahmad and An-Nasai)

>Kita boleh amalkan setiap kali selepas baca Al-Quran dan sebelum tidur :) Insya'allah dapat berkat. Hari-hari dapat pahala seolah-olah kita khatam satu Al-Quran :)

2. Building a house in heaven :)

From Al-Muwatta', narrated by Abu Hurairah : I was walking with the Prophet, and he heard someone reciting Surah al-Ikhlas. He said : Obligatory :D. I asked him : What ya Rasulullah? He answered : Heaven (obligatory for the reader's paradise).

"Anyone who read Surah al-Ikhlas 11 times, Allah will build him a home in heaven,"
Hadith narrated by Ahmad and Muadz)

>Mari2 tingkatkan amalan. Inilah tempat tinggal kita yang kekal abadi. You dont even need to spend a penny guys :) What a beautiful life Allah has given to us :)

3. Pray and preserved by the angels :)

(Riwayat Ibnu Abbas)
I have the English translation but I think it is a bit complicated and difficult to understand. So, Malay is better :D
4.  Reared from the torment of the grave and simplified in Hereafter :)
Rasulullah says: Whoever recites Surah Al-Ikhlas when he sick until he died, then he will not rot in their graves, would secure him from the narrowness of his tomb and the angels will take him with their wings and sailed across Siratul Mustaqim to heaven.(Tadzikaratul Qurthuby)
Thats all :)

Aina Nadiah :D
